Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the EduLink Kenya college and university management system (the "System"), provided by WamuTech Systems ("we", "us"). By registering an institution, logging in, or using the System, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your institution ("Institution").

1. The service

EduLink Kenya provides Staff and Student Portals covering fee management, results, HR, examinations (including online proctored exams), e-learning, and finance, hosted on infrastructure managed by WamuTech Systems.

2. Accounts and access

• Institutions are responsible for the accuracy of data entered by their staff and for managing who holds login credentials.
• Each staff account should be used only by the person it was issued to; role-based permissions determine which modules are visible.
• Institutions must promptly notify us of any suspected unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

The System may not be used to: enter false academic or financial records, circumvent examination security or proctoring controls, attempt to access data outside an assigned role, or interfere with the System's normal operation.

4. Fees and demos

A free demo may be provided to prospective Institutions to evaluate the System. Paid subscription terms, where applicable, are agreed separately with each Institution and are not set out on this website.

5. Data ownership

All academic, financial and HR records entered into the System remain the property of the Institution. WamuTech Systems processes this data solely to operate the System, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the System available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated to Institutions in advance where possible.

7. Limitation of liability

The System is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by Kenyan law, WamuTech Systems is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the System, including losses resulting from data entered incorrectly by an Institution's own staff.

8. Termination

An Institution may discontinue use of the System at any time. On termination, the Institution may request an export of its data within a reasonable period, after which it may be archived or deleted in line with our data retention practices.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the System after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
